A Special Invitation To...
Now would be the perfect time to try out one of our music groups. As we begin this new season of making music, the doors are wide open for you to come and see what is happening. those who have participated before and those who have been thinking about trying it and those who have never experienced the joy of making music in praise of God are all invited. Read over the list of possibilities for youth and adults, choose the option that best fits you, and come along...
Praise Team
Our praise team practices from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in the sanctuary and sings for the 8:45 a.m. worship service. Each week they sing a blend of offerings from new and old hymns to more contemporary praise songs.
Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir sings for the 11:00 a.m. worship service each Sunday morning and practices upstairs in the choir room from 7:30-8:45 p.m. each Wednesday evening. They sing more traditional anthems, often practicing several weeks ahead.
Handbell Choir
We have been ringing with enough bell ringers to play 2 octaves of hand bells. Our church owns 3 octaves and we would like to expand our group by a few playser to we can ring all 3. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6-6:45 pm. It is not necessary to have prior experience ringing. Please consider joining us and making our dreams come true.
Children's Choirs
We will begin one or two children's choirs soon, but are unsure of when they will meet. Parents are asked to watch in a week or two for an email survey asking them for input.
