Jesus said "when you do it to the least of these, you do it to me."
I would like to invite you to come join the Golden Chain Circle. While we are in mission "to the least of these" we have a good time laughing, talking, sharing and praying for one another. We participate in making school kits and health kits for needy children. And any other mission project that is presented by our Mission Coordinators. This year there was a very successful used clothes drive and a Blue Ribbon fund raiser for the Match Program. During the year we have two opportunities to "chow down" when we have our July Luncheon and our December covered dish dinner. We remember our shut-ins with cards, gifts and visits; our college students with cards and gifts and support Loaves and Fishes (food pantry for the hungry). You are needed to come join and be a part of the ongoing mission of God's Church. The Purpose of the United Methodist Women is: to be a community of women, whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global Ministries of the church.
